Foundations of architectural design

The foundations of architectural design are the principles and standards that must be followed to design effective and attractive buildings and interior and exterior spaces. These foundations include many factors that must be taken into account in architectural design, such as functional, aesthetic, economic, technical, cultural, social and environmental.
For example, in terms of functionality, a building or interior space should be designed so that it meets the needs of users efficiently and effectively, and provides flexibility and future modifications. Regarding aesthetics, the building must be designed in an attractive and harmonious manner with its surroundings, and so that it reflects the cultural and aesthetic identity of the community it serves. With regard to economic,The building must be designed to achieve the desired performance, cost-effectiveness, and resource and energy efficiency. And so on.

So, it can be said that the foundations of architectural design represent the basic guidelines that must be followed to design an effective and attractive building or internal or external space, and include several overlapping factors that must be carefully considered to ensure obtaining the ideal design.
